Atelier Desire Istanbul began, at its heart, as a passionate "us" project woven stitch by stitch around a shared dream, inspiration and design. We set out on this path believing in the healing power of art and the boundless richness that cultures offer us.

For us, every pattern is sometimes a secret hidden away in Istanbul's ancient archives, sometimes a poem written across the calm blue of the Aegean, and sometimes an exotic tale sprung from the wild... In creating our designs, we trace the footsteps of both local and universal heritage, turning them from mere works of art to be admired into living memories that touch your skin and that you can carry on your shoulders.

The Pure Texture of Nature

At the very start of our journey, we made one another a very clear promise: we would never let anything into our atelier that touches your skin without being a true part of nature. That is why we never allow the artificiality of synthetic fibers into our designs. Instead of plastic-textured, non-breathing fabrics, we chose the flawless drape of silk satin, the nobility of twill weave, and the reassuring naturalness of voile cotton as light as a feather.
